Enjoyment of Nature through art! Photography and Painting competition!
You are welcome to visit Resting Woods in search of your subject. Our flower meadow is in bloom and for the summer months you can expect to find a varity of regular and seasonal insects feeding on them.
Top tip: A warm day without much wind is best for the butterflys.
To promot the enjoyment and apprication of nature without disrupting it we are holding an arts competition. With Adult and Junior classes, for photography and painting (any paint type).
The subject matter for both classes is:
'Native insect on Native flower or blossum'
We hope to boost knowledge of native species while people get out to enjoy the sunshine seeking their subject!
