Our burials are planted with a native tree. Over the years these trees will create a diverse native woodland.
Ashes Interments
We offer you a peaceful space for the final resting of ashes, connecting loved ones with the tranquility of nature.
Interred ashes are marked with a native tree to become part of our woodland.
A Natural Place
We have a focus on creating a natural place, incorporating a flower meadow and native woodland.
As part of our support of a natural setting we seek to keep the woodland green with minimal construction and introduced materials.

At Resting Woods, we strive to offer a harmonious blend of nature and tradition. Our green burial site provides a peaceful place of rest within a native woodland, honouring both the departed and the environment alike.
We have selected a range of native tree species to create the best habitat. We currently have 15 native trees selected for our woodland. These are best suited to our soil and climate, giving the tree the best opportunity to thrive for the decades to come and creates a habitat suitable for our local wildlife.
